Panama City Skyscraper

This Panama City building blends in perfectly with the blue sky. This is part of the large banking community in Panama.

Merlion and Skyline

Singapore's fictional mascot named the Merlio is half mermaid and half lion. The primary statue sits at the base of Singapore harbor directly in front of the modern skyline.

Tokyo Tower

On this rainy day the Tokyo Tower is somewhat shrouded in the clouds. The Japanese speak of the Tower like the French do of their famed Eiffel. I really don't the Tokyo variety should be spoken about in the same sentence.

Notre Dame, Paris

The famous Notre Dame Cathedral located in Paris, France. I caught it at dusk which gave it a great orange glow.

Brugge at Night

I love this photo. I took it in a snow covered park in Brugge, Belgium. Winter Wonderland.

Duomo Bell Tower, Florence

Walking down the street on a weekend morning in Florence is a treat. No one is out and you have the streets to yourself. I saw the beautiful bell tower gleaming in the sun above the buildings that line this street.

San Francisco Wharf

The most famous area of San Francisco, the wharf is the tourist trap of this city. It is great to walk through and take in all of the smells. Grab a steamed Dungenous Crab at any of the stalls.

Lake Villarrica, Chile

This is the view of Lake Villarrica from the Hotel Antamulal in Pucon, Chile. This is such a cool place and very relaxing.

Johor Bahru, Malaysia

This is a town across the causeway from Singapore. This Hindu Temple is a great foreground piece with the government building in the back.

Colorado Rocky Mountains

This is why they call them the Rocky Mountains. You can see one small tree that has embedded itself on this mass of rock on the far Eastern side of the range.

Berlin from Above

Looking toward the telecom tower and the Berliner Dome, this picture was taken high above from the Reichstag in Berlin, Germany.

In the German Alps

This is a picture from our hotel above Garmisch, Germany in Bavaria. What great place to relax in the summer or winter seasons.

Cathedral Palma

This is the entrance of the cathedral in Palma, Spain. A beautifully maintained structure that is the highlight of this port town.

Looking down the Danube River you can see the architecture and the Charles Bridge on the right hand side of the picture.

Virgin Gorda

Before I went to the Caribbean I didn't realize how dry and desert like some of these Islands are. This is the Western side of Virgin Gorda in the BVI and as you can see there are cactus here. This is looking toward Tortola and down below are the famous Bath's.

Low Tide in Indonesia

The tide rolls in and out almost a half a mile on this island in Indonesia. Liz and I went out with a local this day and he took us all over the island. He even brought us to his home to meet his children.

Angel Fire, New Mexico

From up on Angel Fire Mountain I am looking down into the valley that sits at 8000 feet. What a gorgeous area that sits at the Southern most side of the Rocky Mountains.

Over Frozen Russia

On a flight from San Francisco to Hong Kong I decided to peak out the window to see what was below. I saw the frozen surface of the Sea of Okhatsk in far Eastern Russia.

Florida Railway

Driving along I-10 from Tallahassee to Pensacola we saw this great picture of a train over the water.

Buckingham Palace

Now I know this site is a little touristy but I love the moon that I caught behind the palace very early in the morning.

Northern California Bay

Looking down at Tomales Bay in the Point Reyes National Seashore an hour and half north of San Francisco you see beauty all around. This bay is connected to the Pacific and is situated in a perfect region to grow wine.

11 AM in Reykjavik

Visiting Iceland in the winter is difficult because the sun is only out for 5 hours a day. This picture was taken at 11 AM at dawn just on the outskirts of Reykjavik. I thought these statues were very interesting.

Hofbrauhaus

I usually don't put people pics in this blog but I found this picture yesterday of Liz and I at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, Germany.

Fountans in Napa

These are the fountains at Artesa Winery in Napa, California. This winery is done in ultra modern fashion and makes great bottles as well.

Congress Ave. Austin

Looking down Congress Ave in downtown Austin, Texas you see the state capital and office buildings that line the street. This is a great small city in America.

Budapest Parliament

Looking down the Danube River from the Chain Bridge you get a great perspective of Hungary's Parliament building.

Lake Erie, Ohio

This cement dock jets out into Lake Erie in northern Ohio. The clouds at sunset made a beautiful over this Great Lake.

Wyoming's Great Plains

Just outside of Cheyenne, Wyoming the plains roll for hundreds of miles. I liked the grouping of trees with just a touch of autumn on their leaves.

Lake Placid

A view of Lake Placid from a boat dock near the Lake Placid Lodge show how large this lake really is. As you can see by the lake's glassy surface it lives up to it's name.

Los Angeles from Above

Taken while taking off to the east out of Los Angeles International. The morning fog is still trapped between the hills just behind the city.

Tijuana's Fun and Games

Tijuana, Mexico is known for some pretty wild things but their Jai Alai games are pure fun. You can bet on the games and see the fastest ball in the world.
